Project Details
This project involved the custom engineering and fabrication of a specialty door to fit a non-standard arched doorway. I personally modified a 32-inch door slab, precisely cutting and shaping the top rail to match the specific radius of the existing arched frame. The fabrication process required expert-level template creation to ensure a consistent reveal and smooth operation within the curved opening. I performed all necessary structural reinforcement of the door core, precision hinge mortising, and final sanding for a professional-grade finish. The installation included a custom-fitted jamb modification to ensure the new arched door seated perfectly against the stops.
